Meet Alejandra

Feng Shui Interior Design Consultant

In 2017, after 15+ years of high-end design work, I reached a pivotal moment. Something deeper was calling. I stepped back to focus on my most meaningful client: myself. That journey inward led me to the ancient wisdom of Feng Shui. Studying under a master practitioner helped me uncover the powerful intersection between energy and design — and ultimately changed the way I approach every space.

With over two decades of experience in the luxury design industry, I’ve had the privilege of transforming homes, wellness spaces, and commercial interiors into elevated environments that not only look exquisite — but feel energetically aligned.

My Story

Today, I merge conscious design with sacred energy principles, combining Feng Shui, Biophilic Design, and crystal healing into a holistic, bespoke approach. The result is more than a beautiful room — it’s a space that supports your growth, well-being, and abundance.

I’m grateful to be the award-winning, bestselling author of “I Just Can’t Make This Sh!t Up” — a heartfelt, humorous reflection on intuitive living and the magic that unfolds when you say “yes” to alignment.

There is no greater joy than watching a space — and its people — transform.

Casa Shui Life is the natural evolution of over 20 years immersed in the world of luxury interior design, blended with my deep certifications in Feng Shui, Biophilic Design, and holistic energy work. It is the culmination of a journey that began with beauty and now lives in alignment — where every space is curated not just to look exquisite, but to support the lives, emotions, and energies of those who dwell within.

As a Feng Shui interior design consultant, my mission is to create environments that are both elevated and energetically intentional — where well-being, harmony, and soul-led living are designed into every detail. Whether it’s a home, a sanctuary, or a place of work, the spaces I create are crafted to nourish and transform.

I was 50 years old when a longtime client, deeply immersed in energy work, invited me to join her for a Feng Shui consultation. The practitioner was already coming to her home, and she suggested I book one for the same day. I didn’t know anything about Feng Shui back then, but something deep within me whispered yes

How alignment found me when I needed it most.

THE JOURNEY TO CASA SHUI LIFE

At the time, I had spent years creating elevated, beautiful interiors for others — but inside, I was quietly unraveling.

My body needed time to heal before they could operate again. Just three months after that procedure, I had to undergo lower lumbar fusion — and just as I began to feel like myself again, I was hit with yet another surprise diagnosis: cervical fusion was now necessary. All of this was happening as we faced financial strain and an overwhelming sense of uncertainty. I felt completely out of alignment.

When the Feng Shui practitioner arrived at our home, she offered thoughtful recommendations for our space — and then looked me in the eye and said, “One day, you’ll be doing this too.” I laughed. I could barely imagine making it through the next surgery, let alone adding anything new to my design practice. But I took her advice to heart and made a few adjustments to our bedroom, the space I would be recovering in.

The shift was almost immediate. Even my husband — not one for woo — noticed the change. The room felt calmer. I felt supported. And in that sacred stillness, I began to heal.

What no one knew was that I had just come through one of the hardest chapters of my life. At 47, I had undergone a full hysterectomy, followed by a failed bladder surgery that left me self-catheterizing for six months.

After surgery, I found myself drawn back to those consultation notes. I began implementing her recommendations throughout our home — slowly, intentionally — layering the ancient wisdom of Feng Shui into the language of design I already knew fluently. After six months of living this new energy, I knew I had to bring this to my clients. I reached back out to the practitioner. She took me on as a student.

I studied full-time until I earned my certification. As I began incorporating Feng Shui into my client work, I developed my Elements in Balance approach — a signature method that marries intuitive design with energetics in a way that feels both aesthetically beautiful, grounded and elevated.

My curiosity didn’t stop there.

I began meditating regularly, and during one of my early meditations, I received a clear message: you’re going to write a book. I had never considered it before — but I listened. That book, “I Just Can’t Make This Sh!t Up,” was born in Sedona, Arizona, where we bought a second home and lived full-time during the pandemic. That home — that energy — was a portal.

Today, I’m interviewed on TV, podcasts, live radio, and featured in magazines around the world. My clients span continents. And I credit all of it to one thing: energy alignment. Feng Shui helped me shift my space with the intention to call in my highest purpose — and I did.

Of course, it’s not complete magic. I always remind my clients: placing an orchid in your Wealth Gua won’t deliver a windfall overnight. But aligning your space with intention, beauty, and energy? That changes everything — from the inside out. If you’ve found yourself here, it means something in you is ready. Ready to evolve. Ready to align. Ready to say yes. Let’s make it happen.

Casa Shui Life: Designed to be Felt

1. What’s your guilty pleasure when you’re off the clock?

Bravo and HGTV shows. I could binge them for hours—and often do!

2. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be—and why?

That’s a tough one. I had a second home in Sedona for years, and the magic of the mountains still calls to me. But I’m also endlessly drawn to the ancient architecture of Europe. Ideally, I’d bop around—chasing beauty, history, and energy alignment wherever I go.

3. What’s one thing people are always surprised to learn about you?

I used to work in retail—I can fold a T-shirt like nobody’s business. Also? I allow myself one Diet Coke a day. It’s my ultimate guilty pleasure.

4. What book has influenced you the most?

Move Your Stuff, Change Your Life by Karen Rauch Carter. Not only did I read it, but I had a 1:1 consultation with her that completely shifted the course of my life.

5. Morning ritual or night owl magic—what’s your favorite time of day and why?

Mornings. Me, Art, and our four rescue dogs curled up on the couch with coffee, cozy blankets, and a design show in the background. It’s my sacred reset before the world wakes up.

6. What’s one item you can’t travel without?

My crystals—and my smudge spray. I pack them in my suitcase and keep a few on me. Wherever I go, I bring tools to protect, clear, and elevate the energy.

7. Who or what inspires your creativity the most?

Nature. The way light moves through leaves, the sacred geometry of flowers, and the soul of a space quietly waiting to be seen—that’s where the magic begins.

A Little Peek Behind the Energy-Aligned Curtain…

Because behind every space I design is a woman who loves Diet Coke, sacred symmetry, and a good Bravo binge.
