How Interior Design and Feng Shui Align for Great Results!

Every selection in a home carries energy and this staircase runner was chosen with deep purpose.

This area of my client’s home sits in the Family Gua, the part of the Bagua Map connected to lineage, harmony, healing, and the roots that support us. The dominant element of this gua is Wood, which is strengthened through organic patterns, upward growth, and of course… the color green.

So when my client and I saw this runner, with its tree-like organic patterning and rich green undertone, it instantly aligned with the energy we were wanting to call into this space.

It evokes growth, stability and vibrant life force, exactly what the Family Gua calls in.

I also chose 100% wool to support a cleaner, more natural material palette, something I prioritize in every Casa Shui Life project. Wool brings warmth, grounding, and a healthier alternative to synthetic fibers.
